Arduino Offset Header - 8 Pin
This is a 8-pin female header, with extra long legs that are slightly offset. The offset helps correct for the weird 0.16" spacing between the two 8-pin headers on the digital side of an Arduino. Stick this and an 8-pin Stackable Header on an Arduino and D7 and D8 pins will be spaced by a more standard 0.2". This allows you to then use a standard perf board stacked on top of the Arduino.
Pins are spaced by 0.1".

Any other place you can buy these offset headers?
Now I know what Bender's been doing since they stopped making "Futurama".
Well, I'm confused, again!
My understanding of the Arduino spacing oddity, supported by the "Arduino Offset Header Explained" link, is that the two Arduino header blocks are collinear, but that there's an "extra" 0.06" space between the two blocks.
To address that, one would need header pins that are offset in the plane of the header by that amount. That's what's shown in the linked text.
Here's where I'm getting lost: In the photos on this page, the pins appear to be offset out of the plane of the header, that is, they shift perpendicularly to the line of the pins.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

I think you are seeing an optical illusion. The pins are offset in parallel to body of the header.

Does that mean they're gonna stop selling them, seeing as how Futurma is back?
Would love to find a male header version of this for low-profile shields. You can bend your own with long headers, but it would be nice to save time.
